Why We Age

Being There

Come Together

It seems that lately I have grown
    ...A “Dancing Heart”.

One that glides out over a groundless floor
   In ever widening, elongated arcs.

Dancing to an unheard,
    but deeply felt music.

First at ease,

    With grace,
    (and laughter from some
    unfamiliar place).

Then equally with sorrow, confusion,
    And pain.

And then -- in a moment like no other before
   Both feelings at once!

Now it seems this Dancing Heart has grown arms, and legs.

    It has a Body,
    It has a Mind,
   And it has a Soul.

And it seems that lately it has grown
    a very,
    very,
    good friend.
